Enter at least one field (to fulfil just one field is most useful for searching) and click on "Search". The only exception when you must not enter any field is in case that you are looking for all items added within last 30 days: switch in the field "Item added" on "within last 30 days" and press "Search" button.

cap written in the fiel "Any string" will find all words containing this string, for example Capablanca, handicap etc. Do not use wildcards as asterisks, question marks etc, write only the string which you are looking for. Do not use operators as "+", "or" etc.

Use the field "Year of issue or Year of event" to find when a book was issued or when a tournament has been played. For example, 1936 will find all books issued in this year and or tournaments held in 1936. Similarly, 193 will find everything for 1930-1939 or 18 will return all for 1800-1899.
